Yesterday 20th May 2017, the African Diaspora Forum (ADF), Carnival Company (CC), in partnership with the Gauteng Provincial Government, kicked start Africa Week activities at 8h30 at Barnato High school in Berea.
Yesterday we had:
- The commemoration of the 2008-2017 xenophobic attacks with candle lighting in memory of people who lost their lives, those who were injured, those who lost their belongings during the attacks.
- We had social cohesion soccer with the victory of the Nigerian team who won the cup. Soccer Legends who participated :
